DJ PHAZE, born in Trinidad & Tobago, and now based in Baltimore, MD is known to bring people to their feet with the simple drop of a needle & the smooth blending of beats. His non-conventional style & ability to seamlessly play any genre of music, is what sets him apart from your average DJ.  Additionally, his musicianship and knowledge of sound engineering are assets that enhance his professionalism and versatility.  Thus far he has proven in a short space of time that he’s not only a music lover and musician, but an expert in his craft of DJing.

In 2010, PHAZE migrated to Germany and graced clubs and venues in Munich and surrounding cities in Bavaria.  While there, he secured syndication of his radio show entitled Soul Siesta on Banglounge.FM.  Now back in the United States, PHAZE continues his activities as a tastemaker and curator of good music!

His ongoing radio credits include co-hosting, djing and producing the late night half of The Friday Night Jazz Club on WEAA 88.9FM every Friday from 10pm - midnight.  AND... He's also the DJ and co-producer of The Rhythm with AMC, a bi-weekly Sunday radio show on FullaSoul.com. 

DJ PHAZE also hosts a weekly Happy Hour at Teavolve in Baltimore.  Based on his famed Freeload Friday podcast mixes, Freeload Friday Happy Hour features music and performances by local and national independent soul artists, as well as a musical selection that includes Afrobeat, Soul and Funk classics, rare grooves, soulful house, classic hip-hop and R&B.  Equally talented as a host/MC, PHAZE has previously hosted the Smirnoff sponsored Kiss N Grind in Washington, DC, as well as in Baltimore (DJ&Host) during its recent national tour featuring Viktor Duplaix as the headlining DJ.

Sharing stages with artists such as the legendary Slick Rick, New Edition, India.Arie, Eric Roberson, Jaguar Wright, and PJ Morton has been just a few of the highlights of his career.  Adding to his list of credits, PHAZE, as part of the Gypsy Soul family has produced, engineered, and mixed The Ear Candy Chronicles Mixtapes presented by Gypsy Soul and Briclyn Entertainment. The mixtapes (Vol.1 and 2) feature numerous independent artists throughout the United States who are both on the verge and noteworthy. PHAZE’s Jill Scott Jawn Mixtapes (Vol. 1 and 2) are internationally known.  Even more recently, his second installment ofThe Anita Baker Sessions mixed exclusively for SoulAfrodisiac.com, has crossed over into international waters with accolades from fans around the world.

Keeping busy on the concert DJ circuit, PHAZE has been in constant rotation between Washington, DC, New York City and Atlanta.  In Washington, DC he recently performed as the concert/house DJ for DC Love Fest which headlined by Raheem DeVaughn, Marsha Ambrosious.  In Baltimore, he has performed with Eric Roberson, Angela Johnson and Anthony David and The Foreign Exchange.  In Atlanta, as the former resident DJ for Music Addikts, PHAZE was the opening act for Zo’s Sunstorm album release concert at Masquerade, as well as having played for several First Hit listening sessions at Moods Music.  PHAZE has graced  the stage and decks for New York City's Summer Concerts in the Parck Series as well as venues like and events such as Soul Factory and DateNight NYC.  Despite his demanding schedule, PHAZE finds the time to produce his bi-weekly podcast that is downloaded globally.  He is also the former resident DJ for Grown Folks Music and Music Addikts, and has been featured numerous times as a Soulbounce.com Mixologist - all highly regarded blogs/sites in the Soul/Neo-Soul movement.

DJ PHAZE passionately believes that music is a universal language & is one of very few things that unite people as a whole. He uses his talent and gifts to entertain, educate and enhance the quality of the experience of attending any event where he performs.  He’s not just a DJ, he’s an aural landscaper and curator of infectiously good music.
